Position: Associate Project Manager

Research Interests: My research interests focus on strengthening health systems through evidence generation, implementation research, and knowledge translation, with particular interest in how policy, financing, governance, and programme implementation influence health outcomes. I am particularly interested in maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH), HIV prevention and treatment, primary health care (PHC), and equitable access to quality health services in Nigeria. My work explores how routine programme data, health financing evidence, implementation learning, and stakeholder engagement can be translated into practical interventions and policies that improve service delivery and accountability. I am also interested in innovative approaches to reaching underserved and vulnerable populations, including the use of digital and social media platforms to improve health information, prevention uptake, and engagement among young people. Ultimately, my research goal is to bridge the gap between evidence, policy, and practice by generating actionable knowledge that supports more responsive, efficient, equitable, and sustainable health systems.

Research Interests: My research interests focus on using implementation science to improve equitable access to and use of maternal, child and adolescent health services, with particular interest in health financing and financial risk protection. I am interested in how health insurance and other financing mechanisms can be effectively implemented, integrated into routine health systems and sustained to improve service uptake, continuity of care and health outcomes. Drawing on my experience in HIV, PMTCT and paediatric program implementation, I seek to understand how context, financing and health-system processes influence what works, for whom and under what conditions.
